Glen William Bell Jr. (September 3, 1923 - January 16, 2010) is an American businessman who established the Taco Bell restaurant chain.
Born in Lynwood, California, Glen Bell attended and graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1941. He served in the US Marine Corps during World War II. Bell left the military in 1946 and started his first hot dog stall, called Bell's Drive-In, at San Bernardino in 1948. In 1952, he sold a hot dog stand and built a second kiosk selling hot dogs and hamburgers. Soon, he began selling tacos at a taco shop called Taco-Tia for 19 cents each from a side window. Between 1954 and 1955, he opened three Taco Tias in the San Bernardino area, eventually selling the restaurants and opening four El Tacos with a colleague in the Long Beach area.
In 1962, he decided to go solo and sell El Tacos to his partner and open his first Taco Bell. Bell franchise his restaurant in 1964. His company expanded rapidly, and the 868-restaurant chain was then sold to PepsiCo in 1978 for $ 125 million in inventory.

This spacer along this <3>, ( 914Ã, mm ) span uses the bottom of the track and some steam locomotives from the West Side Lumber Company rail. The operation also offers a boat ride in the old mill and RV park. It closed in the early 1980s after failing to attract enough visitors. Maps Glen Bell
