Rochelle School of the Arts has 8 periods a day and works very well with their art class. If it's changed to a blocked schedule (7 periods) the art program will not work properly. Eight periods of day gives students a wider experience in art and academia. If that is a blocked schedule, the students have to stay in the classroom longer and have fewer good experiences in the art as they will only have one art for each teacher. Teachers will also learn about what students need to learn by 8 periods per day.
During 2013-14 years, the Rochelle Administration and the Polk County School Board approved the renovation and arrangement of the park. They are renovating many things like offices and auditoriums.
