The science project is an educational activity for students involving experimental or model construction in one of the disciplines. Students can present their science projects at a science fair, so they can also call it a fair science project. Science projects can be classified into four main types. Science projects are conducted by students around the world.

Experimental project
Experimental projects, also known as inquiry projects, start with questions (AKA hypotheses), use scientific methods to complete research, and end with a report detailing results and conclusions and abstracts.
Engineering Engineering
Engineering projects, also known as technology projects, begin with machine design or mechanical structures with the aim of improving strength or performance. Researchers implement all of their design ideas in the models they make. The model will be tested to evaluate the design.

Show projects
Display projects involve the creative assembly of display boards and model constructions to show the visual representation of larger facts. Creating a model of the solar system, a home, or a simple electrical circuit is considered a display project. The display board is used to enhance the presentation. Tablet computers can be attached to the display boards to create interactive display boards.
Theoretical projects
Theoretical projects can involve the same format as experimental or engineering projects. However, for some possible reasons, such as lack of feasibility due to cost, the actual experiment is not done.
