Neal Hendrix (born May 12, 1973) is a professional skateboarder, commentator, brand manager and professional photographer.

Skateboarding career
Hendrix grew up in Lewisville, North Carolina, and began skating in the backyard and mid-Atlantic park in 1986. While in the Winston Salem area Neal did a lot to promote the skateboard and became an inspiration to the many young skaters who appeared behind him. He let the young skaters slide half the pipe in his parents' backyard. In 1991 he became pro for New Deal and two years later moved to southern California, where he lives today. Even the high school (West Forsyth) is marked with a new dealer sticker in recognition of one realist.
Career highlights include five X Games medals and won titles in 2005 at the Skatepark of Tampa Pro Vert Contest and Chinas' Shanghai Showdown . Hendrix was ranked 2nd in the 2007 Skateboarding World Cup and Pro Vert World Rankings . He also slid for 11 years on the Vans Warped Tour. Hendrix is ââthe flagship skater in Boom Boom Huckjam owned by Tony Hawk and in recent years he has been doing various demos with Hawk and his crew all over the world.
Hendrix is ââstill competing. In 2016 he won the Vert Attack X in Sweden and ranked 3rd in Australia's Beach Bowl GoPro .
In 1996, Hendrix slid in an Olympic closing ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia.

Other career highlights
Hendrix began his career as a guest team at Woodward Camp in Pennsylvania in the 1990s. He has remained a pro guest for many years and is now a Brand Manager for camps around the world, which includes camps in Pennsylvania, California, China and Colorado.
He is an announcer and commentator for various skateboarding contests and series including the Dew Tour, X Games and the upcoming World Series VANS Championships. Hendrix was previously a reporter for Fuel TV The Weekly Update.
Hendrix is ââa photographer in his spare time, documenting the various cities and countries he has visited through his workouts. He has had several photography exhibitions in the surrounding Los Angeles area including Lab, in Costa Mesa and the UCLA Kerckhoff Gallery.
