The Honda Crosstour (originally branded Accord Crosstour ) is a medium-sized crossover SUV manufactured by Japanese carmaker Honda. Sales began in November 2009 for the 2010 model year, and were discontinued for the 2016 model year due to slow sales, along with Elements (which was discontinued in the second year of Crosstour).

Design
Crosstour is placed under Pilot in size in the Honda SUV range; Crosstour is longer but has two rows of seats compared to three Pilots and has approximately 50cu ft less interior space.
The Crosstour is a variation of the Accord hatchback/cart and shares the same platform. Crosstour is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine or an optional 4-cylinder 2.4-liter engine (front-wheel drive only) and a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive, priced starting at $ 29,670, above the Accord sedan (which started only under $ 23,000).
Crosstour is a competitor to Toyota Venza that is currently discontinued, a wagon based on the enduring competitor Accord, Camry. And like Venza, intended to replace the Camry wagon, Crosstour did the same with the Accord cart.
For the 2012 model year, Honda removed the "Accord" prefix, made the name "Crosstour", and granted the front grille of a restyle. The I4 engine for the front-wheel-drive model was released in late 2011 and went on sale in early 2012.
Crosstour is sold in the US, Canada, Mexico, China, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Russia. Crosstour has been built and marketed in China by GAC-Honda since October 2010.

Facelift
For the 2013 model year, Honda refreshed Crosstour. A Crosstour concept vehicle was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show on April 4, 2012. The revised Crosstour 2013 went on sale on November 20 with a $ 500 price reduction along with an increase in standard content. The interior was redesigned, with a more powerful and fuel-efficient J35Y V6 engine coupled to a 6-speed automatic replacing the previous J35Z V6 and 5-speed automatic. The fuel economy for the V6 model is upgraded to an EPA-estimated 20/30/23 mpg (city/highway/combined) for front-wheel-drive and 19/28/22 mpg for all-wheel-drive. Inside the 10-way power (2-way lumbar) and auto-dimming rearview mirrors are also standard on all trims.
Termination
On April 8, 2015, Honda announced that it halted production at Crosstour by the end of model year 2015 due to slow sales. The final production date is August 31, 2015. Another factor in Honda's decision is to free up space on the production line for CR-V, Acura RDX and also Acura MDX by 2017.
Security
Crosstour 2013 is available with Forward Collision and Lane Departure Warning Systems. The standard back-to-back backup camera on all 2012 models, a more sophisticated rear camera with wide and top viewing angles is optional. Excluding the basic EX trimming the new LaneWatch camera mounted on the passenger side mirrors is standard on the 2013 model.
